Isofix BT (Isofix BT-B & BT-T)
Adhesive primer for concrete surfaces
Definition:
ISOFIX BT contains suspended acrylic (BT-B) or vinyl (BT-T) polymers in an aqueous solution.
An organic adhesive developed to bond sprayed on mineral wools with inorganic binders onto all concrete masonry surfaces.
Uses:
ISOFIX BT is especially recommended for bonding ISOTHERM and ISOFLAM fibrous mixes onto concrete.
Fine spray with a gun, ISOFIX BT is used as a fixative to prevent fibre loss and dust, to harden the exposed side of the sprayed on product.
Packaging-Storage:
- Packaging : in 30 kg polythene drums.
- Conservation : lasts approximately 4 months between 6 and 25°C.
- Store protected from frost.
Characteristics :
- Colour: milky white (BT-B) transparent (BT-T)
- State: Viscose liquid.
- Viscosity: 5 000 – 6 000 m.Pa.s at 22°C.
- Consumption: 150 to 300 g/m². (Varies according to type of application and porosity of concrete surfaces).
Application :
- Product ready to use, no dilution necessary.
- Application: roller (preferably) or gun.
- On dry, clean and firm surface, free from all traces of formwork release agent, mortar chalking, paint chips or residue.
- Ambient and surface temperature must be higher than + 5°C.
- Partial drying: 1 to 4 hours depending on weather conditions.
Safety instructions :
- Wear gloves and glasses.
- If accidentally splashed into the eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with water for 5 mins. If an irritation appears, consult a doctor.
- In the event of contact with the skin, wash the affected part with water and soap.
- In the event of accidental swallowing drink plenty of drinking water.
